Timothy R. Oglesby - I am a catachist and parish speaker, and my passion is for Catholic adult formation with a special focus on understanding the Bible through the six blood covenants that make up the Old and New Testament. It is my desire to help all Catholics, at all stages of their journey in this life, to discover or rediscover the treasure of our Catholic faith, and to help re-kindle the grace all Catholics received at our baptism and initation into the Church.
I hold a Masters of Theological Studies from Newman University, Wichita Ks, and teach adult spiritual formation classes at St. Teresa's parish in Hutchinson, Ks. and Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Little River, Ks. Tounge in cheek, we call these classes OFC University** (OnFireCatholics University**). In recent years I have had the provilege of teaching RCIA classes and being a part of the Cursillo movement as both a speaker and table leader. Just recently Jackie and I were asked to share our journey into the Church on The Journey Home program on EWTN, hosted by Marcus Grodi, this past May 22, 2017. A link to the program out on YouTube can be found at the bottom of our HOME page. Also several photos taken from the actual program are in the photo album section of this webstie.
Jackie Oglesby - Jackie is a quiet spirit with a compassion for Jesus, our family, and the Catholic Church and I fell in love with her long before we ever became Catholic. Jackie and I were both widowed many years ago, suffering great loss, but finding each other in a very caring Pentecostal church that we both attended some 27 years ago. By the grace of God we put our "Brady Bunch" together and we will be married 25 years this December 26, 2017. We have 4 married children and 7 amazing grandchildren. Jackie loves to serve people in her own quiet way, finding creative ways to love and take care of the needs of those around her. I could not do what I do without her, and both of us have an overflowing joy in being Catholic. Praise God!
